During my time at BMG, I created numerous Mailchimp campaigns to send out to clients, internally, etc., including show invites, trending on TikTok reports, samplers to send to music supervisors, info for SXSW, and monthly playlists. On a day to day basis, the majority of my work dealt with making playlist pitches for briefs from supervisors/music houses/brand clients. I deep dived both BMG's catalogue music, both on the recorded and publishing sides, researching writer splits for fees based on terms (usage, territory, paid media, length, etc.). Additionally, I s​pearheaded a project cataloging BMG songs with samples, researching writers & split %s, as well as organized clients.

Brian Eno Earth Percent

Brian Eno is a British musician, composer, and record producer. Most recently, he launched a campaign naming "The Earth" as a cowriter for one of his songs. This project encourages other artists to do the same, donating 1% of their royalties to causes for protecting the environment. I was on the team to help put together and send out the press release, as well as making a database to pitch to. 

As If Magazine Intern

Through my time as a production intern with As If Mag, I've been able to work in the music business world through researching and creating interview questions for artists including Steve Aoki and Matteo Bocelli. I've also assisted on set during photoshoots for both Aoki and artist Ashley Longshore, and project managed the fashion photo credits for each of the looks. On the back end, I assisted with transcriptions and social media posts. Photos from the Fall 23 cover shoot are linked to the left.

Industry Sessions

I've attended industry networking workshops with the Music Forward Foundation, including zoom sessions on promoting my pitch, publishing a presence, resume skills, and networking. Additionally, I've had 1:1 sessions connecting with industry professionals, and am a part of their partner mentorship program with BMG.

Calling all Crows

Volunteer Work

Headcount promotes voter registration and participation in democracy through the power of music and culture. We organize at over 1000 concerts, and I've had the opportunity to volunteer as a brand ambassador in order to effectively spread their message to people at these shows. Thus far, I've worked at Noah Kahan, Harry Styles, and Global Citizen Festival. 

 

Calling All Crows partners with musicans and fans to create change through service and activism. #HereForTheMusic is the latest campaign I've been able to volunteer with in going to shows, and tabling before concerts begin, in order to spread awareness about fighting sexual harassment in live music spaces. I've been a part of effectively spreading awareness of their cause to hundreds of live music fans, specifically at shows for Faye Webster and the 1975.
